my triumphant return to tumblr!

and the downward spiral at my kinda-new-but-now-old job.

that is right my friends, i am at work and on tumblr. let the new job searching commence. at this time last year i was at my old job and always on tumblr because i was always bored…and alas, this has happened at my new job as well. i now officially hate this place too.

the work. the clients. my coworkers. at this point it would be faster to list who i dont want to stab vs. who i do want to stab.

so much has changed in the last year and yet i end up at the same place i was last year. unhappy because i cant find a career, yet grateful its almost christmas and christmas = presents!

so in honor of my return, i have decided to fill you in on what you have missed since i have been away. welcome to:

p.s. there were entirely too many questions on the survey so i totally skipped some. no shame.

1. What time did you go to bed last night and were you alone?  

Wow…starting off kinda personal no? Thats cool. Um…Im a grown up now so it was probably like 11 something. I fell asleep watching criminal minds then woke up startled because i dreamt i was in the episode and someone was trying to sell me into sexual slavery. which considering how horrible work has been lately, doesnt seem like such a bad option now.

2. If you could be given ANY gift what would it be?

 

happiness. too broad? okay then. a puppy.

 

3. What was the last film that really moved/disturbed/thrilled you and why?

 

let’s go to prison. ive started watching this movie so many times and this last weekend i finally watched the whole thing! i didnt particularly care for the actual movie, i just felt very accomplished by finally finishing it. 

 

5. Whats your favourite way to wake up and whats the first thing you do?

 

to breakfast in bed. oh wait, favorite non-delusional way? probably on saturdays when i dont work. first thing i do? check my facebook. like a lame.

 

7. If you had to do a bushtucker challenge (you have to eat insects/grubs etc) what would be the worst thing you had to eat?

8. Whats the worst/most embarassing CD/Album you’ve ever owned and do you still have it?

 

only every boy band cd ever! and i didnt even have cds. i had tapes. 98 degrees. o-town. lfo. and im not ashamed to admit it. okay…maybe a little. okay…maybe a lot. thank god for ipods now.

   

11. What characteristics do you dislike in yourself?

 

id like to say nothing and i love myself and all that jazz. but since i have to pick, probably that im too sensitive and i cry easily. the other day my mom was telling me about a movie she watched where this guy adopts a dog and theyre together forever and then the dog dies and my world fell apart. i was sobbing without even watching the movie. no joke.

  

16. Whats the next planned event you’re looking forward to in your life?

 

5 days off for thanksgiving. i have big plans to drink and watch other people cook for me.

17. What were you doing before you started this?

 

pondering the origins of the universe. finalizing my plans for world peace. plotting to end world hunger. okay i lie. i was eating a granola bar and contemplating the fastest way home to my couch and a beer.

yes i am in fact still alive. barely. let me just give you a quick rundown of the last few weeks. 

my wisdom teeth became infected after i put off getting them extracted…for years. after which i got strep because apparently do i not only work in a hellhole, but a germ-infested one at that. the week after which my car got broken into and NOTHING was stolen. you happy there mr. burglar? you broke into my car for some old happy meal toys and some pesos left over from my last trip to mexico. congratulations. and just when i think nothing else could happen…my apartment key broke in the door and i was locked out after having worked 16 hours at previously mentioned hell hole. oh and my BFF is dating some money grubbing octo-mom wannabe whore and cant be bothered to actually show up to work. needless to say, the stab list for this week would be never ending. instead, the boyfriend has encouraged me to take a positive outlook on life, so:

things that i am currently obssessing over to distract myself from my currently dismal and potentially insanity causing life:

1. blue moon. and cake. while i watch reruns of family guy. which is where i saw this:

…and laughed for five minutes.

i love this show! its like desperate housewives for 15 year olds. but look at them! why couldnt my high school have been as pretty? and dark? and shrouded in a never ending mystery that keeps me tuning in week after week even though i have to hide to watch the show so i dont get made fun of? *sigh*

the royal wedding. why? because its only the wedding of the CENTURY. omg. actually i will be the first to admit that i have no clue why im so excited but i am. as in, i was at the gym and stayed for an extra 15 minutes on the elliptical because i wanted to see WILL AND KATE’S CARRIAGE FOR THE WEDDING!!! yes it was advertised like that….and yes i watched the whole clip. smh. 

oh and by the way this is the carriage:
